welcome to the real world.....now you get to learn about things like paying bills, buying groceries, learning to cook (or which restaurants do take out for cheap)...and things like if I dont pay my cell phone bill this month will I still have service??? How DO I come up with enough for first month/last month rent? and then it costs HOW MUCH for that tune-up on my car?????

along with the 'I did have my paycheck directed deposited--it should have been there yesterday, WHY are you charging me an over draft??????'

ah the joys of living on your own (none of those happened to me, just stuff I heard from a LOT of friends after graduation).

Ya, that should be interesting cosy. I am hoping that getting money before I move into my new place this August will allow me to avoid such issues. I would prefer not to be living paycheck to paycheck. I want to have some money in reserve.

Best pickup line? Pickup lines are shit. Just sayin'. Usually they make the person look more like a douche than anything. I prefer just to be real and talk to them. Not drop one freaking line. It has worked well for me some far. Had a gf for over 4 years now. So I think my way works just fine.

I never did the bar scene so no ideas about pick up lines (and most guys arent really into ugly girls--so the few times I did go to a bar most guys looked the other way or at their shoes)....
all of my bf's have been thru groups or clubs we belonged to ---they found out that the outside wrapping is nothing like what's inside.....but it was fun to find out that half of the guys in the club I was in at college (techie sci fi club)..all wanted to date me at one point or another! (only ONE had the chutzpah to ask me!)

ah oh well.....living pay check to pay check isnt all that bad if you can budget well....but not something I recommend for the long haul.

well, gee guess I am glad I missed THAT excitement.....got back from hot and waay too sunny florida (good thing I didnt get to spend any time outdoors).....didnt get everything accomplished we wanted to, but did find a few things and packed and packed and packed and ...........packed.....

it was not a choice. I went there for the sole purpose of packing up my moms stuff (she is moving to the skilled care center so wont return to her old apartment--and just has waaay to much stuff for a small one room).....anyway....there is nothing to do where she lives.
